Proceq, the market leader for non-destructive testing (NDT) solutions in concrete and steel, and SVTI, the organization of internationally recognized safety experts based in Switzerland, will collaborate to train engineering professionals who are faced with the complex evaluation of aging infrastructure.
Proceq and SVTI will combine their extensive know-how, bringing together Proceq’s state-of-the-art NDE solutions as well as SVTI’s expert knowledge in NDT training. Together, they will present innovative workshops in Europe and overseas. The first trainings will be held in mid-2019.
Proceq’s new powerful sensor technologies combined with smart Screening Eagle IoT-enabled software produce best-in-class inspection data, allowing asset inspectors to identify defects and assess condition for optimal quality control, as-built verification and routine lifecycle inspection to prevent catastrophic failures and deliver predictive healthcare of the assets. SVTI’s highly effective training concepts allow participants to step up to a new level and to become skilled in the technology of modern NDT.
Head of NDE Laboratory of SVTI, Dr. Daniel Algernon, stated: “Proceq is revolutionizing on how to inspect and maintain valuable assets to increase safety and peace of mind for both asset owners and users. For us, this is a unique opportunity to work with the market leader for NDE solutions. Combining this with operators who have sound knowledge of inspection methodology and smart application approaches, there is massive potential for NDE to support the civil engineering field. We look forward to creating new NDE quality benchmarks together.”
Proceq CEO Dr. Ralph Mennicke commented: “Beside our commitment in Proceq and Tectus to make available entirely new solutions to safeguarding assets, we chose to follow a path where we are open to building new constellations. We are very contented to now have SVTI as our partner who not only have a wealth of NDE experience, but also share our passion for the highest quality. Within this cooperation scheme, industry professionals will get acquainted with Proceq’s smart IoT-enabled inspection and the holistic Screening Eagle technologies.”
