Repairing and performing maintenance work on existing equipment
If the inspection reveals that the risk of failure is (too) high, the operator must take action. The planned measures must be submitted to the specialised organisation for review. The Inspectorate reviews the repairs and maintenance work in accordance with the conventional technical rules.

Modifications to pressure equipment
Modifications to existing equipment or the partial replacement of existing equipment must be performed in accordance with the technical rules. We review your maintenance plans in the following order:
- Design review
- Final evaluation
- Pressure test
- Safety acceptance
