Swiss TS is a subsidiary of SVTI and TÜV Süd. Swiss TS conducts training courses for central heating plant managers in conjunction with UMTEC (Institute for Environmental and Process Engineering) of the Hochschule Rapperswil (University of Rapperswil) and on behalf of the Pressure Vessel Inspectorate.

These courses are geared towards the staff of central heating plants in the industrial, commercial and real estate sectors as well as large-scale service providers such as schools, hospitals, district heating power stations and waste incineration plants. Participants who complete the course can take the examination recognised by the Federal Office for Professional Education and Technology (OPET) to become a "Swiss-certified Boiler Operator".
