Within the SVTI, the Pressure Vessel Inspectorate is responsible for all safety matters related to stationary pressure equipment and systems. Its primary concern is to prevent accidents, disruptions and damage during the operation of pressure plants.

Recurring inspections pursuant to EKAS 6516

As a specialised organisation pursuant to UVG Art. 85 (Swiss Federal Law on Accident Insurance), the Pressure Vessel Inspectorate conducts recurring pressure equipment inspections.
